How to prevent the spread of damp

1. Cover furniture and carpets and keep your windows and doors fully open while applying Polycell One Coat Damp Seal and while it dries.

2. Thoroughly clean and repair the surface.

3. Give the Polycell One Coat Damp Seal a good stir before applying, but don’t thin it out. Apply generously by brush to damp, unsaturated surfaces, working it onto the affected area and the area surrounding it.

4. If you’re planning on painting or wallpapering over it, allow Polycell One Coat Damp Seal to dry overnight.

5. Remove as much product from your brushes as you can before cleaning them using Polycell Brush Cleaner.

Note: Polycell One Coat Damp Seal is not a cure for damp or suitable for use against rising damp. Dampness must be stopped at source before applying the product. Polycell One Coat Damp Seal should not be used at ground level, where efflorescent salts are present, or where condensation is a problem.
