How to cover common household stains

1. Cover up furniture and carpets and open doors and windows when applying Polycell One Coat Stain Stop and letting it dry.

2. Ensure the surface you’re working on is clean, dry and free from loose material.

3. Before using Polycell One Coat Stain Stop on a water or damp stain, you must ensure that the original cause of the damp problem has been fixed.

4.  Apply to the affected area using brush or roller.

5. Allow 2-3 hours for Polycell One Coat Stain Stop to be touch dry, and 12 hours before painting or wallpapering over it.

6. For especially stubborn stains, allow Polycell One Coat Stain Stop to dry fully before applying a second coat.

7. If you spill any Polycell One Coat Stain Stop, remove it before it dries using Polycell Brush Cleaner.

8. If you’re painting over Polycell One Coat Stain Stop with gloss or eggshell paints, make sure you prime the treated area first, using a water-based paint.

9. When you've finished using Polycell One Coat Stain Stop, pop the lid back on and clean your brush or roller thoroughly using Polycell Brush Cleaner.
