How to use Polycell Polyfilla for wood

1. Place the cartridge of the Polycell Polyfilla into the skeleton gun. 

2. Squeeze the trigger to apply the filler and move along the repair. Work it well into the hole, using an appropriate tool.

3. Leave the filler slightly proud for wood sanding once dried.

4. For deeper repairs to damaged wood, build up the Polycell Polyfilla in layers of 10mm. Allow the product to dry in between layers for approx. 2 hours.

5. Once the repair is dry, sand the filler and dust off so the surface is even.

6. The surface can be finished with any decorative stain, varnish or paint. 

Note: Polycell Polyfilla wood fillers are available in different shades. They may stain or varnish differently to the damaged wood. For best results, match the colour of the filler as closely to the surface as possible and fill a small test area first to compare appearance. Do not use with wood dye.
