Product Description
Polycell Ready Mixed Finishing Skim is the easy way to give a perfectly smooth finish to slightly rough or uneven plaster. Ready mixed for easy use, it will skim up to 3mm thick and is specially formulated to adhere strongly to plaster. Simply brush it on and smooth off.
Application Description
HOW TO USE : 1) Stir to a creamy consistency. 2) Spread on with a paint brush using random strokes. 3) Smooth over using the enclosed spreader moving in an upward curve. Maintain a firm even pressure. Don't worry about small irregularities or tramlines. 4) Allow to dry for 2 to 3 hours until the surface is firm but before it dries hard. 5) Now use the spreader to achieve a flat, smooth finish, re-wetting the surface if necessary. 6) After 3 to 4 hours you can re-wet the surface and rub gently with a damp cloth, using the spreader to remove any irregularities for a perfectly smooth finish. 7) Allow to dry for at least 24 hours. Prime before painting. Size before papering.
