Product Description
Polycell Expanding Foam Polyfilla is ideal for filling and sealing awkward gaps, hollows and cavities. It dispenses liquid foam deep into cavities and insulates against heat, sound and moisture. It can be easily trimmed and sanded - ready to be painted, filled or plastered.
Application Description
HOW TO USE : 1) Remove cap carefully, holding can away from face. Carefully screw the nozzle fully onto valve. Do not force the nozzle onto the valve (refer to the Additional Safety Precautions below if the nozzle won't screw fully onto valve). 2) Moisten surface with water to help the foam cure and expand (e.g. with plant sprayer). 3) Shake can vigorously approx. 30 times to mix contents. 4) Apply light pressure first to check if valve is working properly. Vary pressure to adjust rate of foam release. Start filling from the lowest point shaking can occasionally during use. Do not overfill - the foam will expand to 2.5 times the initial volume. 5) If building up in layers, spray lightly with water between layers to help fully cure and maximise expansion. 6) Remove fresh foam spillage immediately with nail varnish remover (test on a concealed area first). Cured foam can only be removed mechanically. 7) Foam will be tack free in 15 minutes, surface dry in 30 minutes. It can be cut, sanded, plastered or painted after 12 hours. 8) If exposed to sunlight, the foam must be painted or coated.

Tips & Advice
-
1. Preparing the SurfacesBEFORE USE : Do not apply near naked flames or other sources of ignition. Turn off nearby electrical appliances before use and do not switch on until vapours have cleared. Ensure good ventilation during use. Do not apply in very cold or hot conditions (below 5ºC or above 25ºC). Do not use in areas where cured foam will be exposed to temperatures continuously above 60ºC (e.g. near heating appliances). Ensure surface and hole are clean and free of grease and loose material. Cover furniture, carpets and surrounding areas and mask off any brickwork.

2. CleaningAFTER USE - If the can is to be used again, bend nozzle and attach tip to the nib (see leaflet). When reusing, remove the nozzle tip from the nib and cut away any part of the nozzle tip that is blocked with hardened product. Then continue from step 2 above
-
3. StoringStore in a cool dry place away from frost, on a low shelf to avoid risk of accidental dropping (but keep out of reach of children). Once opened, the can must be used within 8 weeks.
How much paint do I need?
Measure the height and length of the surface you want to paint (in metres or centimetres).

This is an estimated based on 2 coats. Actual coverage will depend on the conditions of the surface. If the colour change is strong, more coats may be required.
