How to use Polycell Deep Gap Polyfilla
1. Ensure the hole you’re filling is free from loose material. It’s a good idea to touch in any nails and screws you’re using with a solvent-based paint.
2. If you’re using the 600ml tub of Polycell Advanced Polyfilla, give it a quick stir first to ensure you have a nice smooth paste to work with.
(If you feel the filler is too dry, add a few drops of water).
3. Dampen the hole slightly to improve the filler's adhesion. Press the filler into the hole using a filling knife, then dip the filling knife into water and smooth off the filler.
4. Wipe any excess filler off with a damp cloth and leave to dry. It dries quickly and smoothly with no shrinkage or sag.
