Polycell BaseCoat provides a sound foundation for walls prior to painting. The advanced formulation is easily applied and covers hairline cracks, filled areas and strong colours. Its built-in flexibility not only covers cracks and other wall imperfections but also helps prevent them from reappearing to ensure long lasting paintwork. Available in the following sizes: |

HOW TO USE
Ensure that surface is clean, dry, sound and free from loose particles and mould. Rub down to remove any sheen. Seal new, bare and porous surfaces with a suitable plaster sealer. If stains are present seal with Polycell Stain Stop and allow to dry.
Fill any holes, and cracks larger than hairline, with an appropriate Polycell Polyfilla and sand down well before applying.
Stir before use and transfer to a roller. (up to 5mm, 3/16")
Apply evenly and avoid overspreading.
Polycell BaseCoat can also be applied by brush - load generously and avoid overspreading.
Remove any splashes immediately before they dry.
Apply emulsion paint top coat when fully dry - at least 4-6 hours.
Wash tools in warm soapy water immediately after use.
Coverage
2.5 litres will cover 12.5 - 20sq.m
Tools required
For best results use a short-pile roller, a brush may also be used, tray.
Storage
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
