There is no better way to strip paint than Polycell Advanced Paint Stripper. The active gel strips most types of paint and varnish without harming wood to get back to the surface you want.

How to use

Protect all furniture, floor coverings and surrounding areas before application.
Hold can away from face when removing caps.
Decant into lid before applying by brush, ensuring a generous even coverage.
Leave until paint begins to blister (2-4hrs) and test scrape to see if adequate penetration has taken place.
If required, the product can be left for up to 6 hours to maximise penetration through all the paint layers.
Remove with a stripping knife or shave hook.
Should any paint remain, repeat the process.
Use white spirit to clean surface of final residues - this will avoid raising the grain of the wood.
Collect waste and dispose of safely.
Clean brush with soapy water.
