You will need
Step by step process
-
Step 1
Cover furniture and carpets, and keep windows and doors fully open to ensure good ventilation during the application and drying processes.
-
Step 2
Use a brush or flat bladed tool to apply a generous 1mm thick layer of Polycell Less Mess Paint Stripper to the wood.
-
Step 3
Leave it to dry for around 6 hours it will begin to form a crust which when fully dry the crust can be easily removed with a stiff brush or stripping knife. Paint residues will fall away easily with the crust, leaving the surface paint-free.
-
Step 4
The surface can then be cleaned with water or white spirit, and the waste can be vacuumed or swept-up ready for safe disposal.
