We've been moving furniture around the home and have the inevitable chips and dents on woodwork, especially on door frames and skirtings. Being flexible, Wood Flex bonds strongly and moves with the wood, giving a long lasting repair that will make you glad you chose the best product for the task. Repairs can be either sanded ready for painting, or even left as applied, as its white formulation blends neatly with surrounding paintwork.
You will need
Step by step process
-
Step 1
First clear away any flaking paint or loose splinters.
-
Step 2
Next, apply Wood Flex straight from the tub, pressing the filler firmly into the dent or hole to ensure a good bond, and smooth flush with the surface using a clean filling knife.
-
Step 3
Finally, wipe away any peripheral filler and leave to dry. Polycell Wood Flex can then be sanded and overpainted or simply left as a near-invisible repair that blends into the surrounding paintwork.
