The warm dry air from the central heating has caused many of my door and window frames to shrink, leaving ugly cracks showing on most of the joints - there are also some holes where the retaining nails have been driven in. Being flexible, Wood Flex bonds strongly and moves with the wood, giving a long lasting and professional finished effect will make you glad you chose the best product for the task.
You will need
Step by step process
-
Step 1
First scrape away any old filler or flaking varnish and vacuum away the debris.
-
Step 2
Next, apply Polycell Wood Flex Polyfilla straight from the tub or tube, working it well into the gap or hole to ensure a good bond.
-
Step 3
Finally, wipe away any residual filler with a damp cloth and then leave to dry. Wood Flex Polyfilla can be left as a perfect repair or can be sanded and varnished. Being water-resistant, it can be used on exterior woodwork too.
