We have moved into a house with attractive bare wood doors. However, gaps have opened up in the door frame joints and the wood is pitted in places. Use a special flexible filler that will allow for the wood shrinking and expanding as room temperatures change.

Step by step process
-
Step 1
Apply Wood Flex Polyfilla from the tub, using a filling knife to work the filler into the gaps between the joints and also the pitted areas. The filler is easy to work with and bonds strongly to wood, drying to a smooth, flexible repair that won't shrink, crack or crumble.

Step 2
Once dry, it's easy to sand and can then be stained if you want to match the appearance of your wood. Wood Flex Polyfilla is weatherproof so you can use it on exterior woodwork too.
