How to create an invisible seal around worktops

In the kitchen the gap between tiles and worktop is always a problem area. You need a perfect seal to keep the area spotlessly clean but you don't want to detract from the smart styling.

Step by step process

    First, ensure the gap between the tiles and worktop is free from grout and any other loose debris.

    Polycell Squeeze & Seal comes in a special malleable pack that you simply squeeze to apply the right amount of sealant - no more struggling with wasteful cartridge guns! Cut the nozzle of the pack at a 45° angle to make a suitable width seal, then run a continuous bead along to fill the gap

    Smooth off neatly with a round ended stick or similar and wipe away any excess with a damp cloth before it dries.

    When dry, the sealant is almost invisible, blending with the colour of the tiles and worktop to create a work area that is both attractive and easy to keep clean.
